NimbusOS bills monthly or annually through Stripe. Pricing is a single NimbusOS plan with two states: a Founding Member rate while early-cohort spots remain, and a Standard rate once the founding cohort is full. Enterprise is a custom tier negotiated separately. This article covers the plan, the trial, the billing model, and how to manage your subscription.
The Plan
A single NimbusOS plan covers the full platform: campaigns, contact data, deliverability brain, reply intelligence, AI autopilot, integrations, and API access. There is no Starter, Professional, or Business tier. Capacity is the same on every NimbusOS subscription; the only differences are the founding rate lock and Enterprise-specific features.

Annual billing offers a 20 percent discount versus monthly.
The current rate is shown on getnimbusos.com/pricing and is resolved server-side at signup. New signups receive whichever rate is active at the moment they enter card details.
The Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial. Pattern 1: a card is required to begin the trial. Stripe Checkout captures the card during signup, then runs the trial natively. The card is not charged until the trial ends, at which point Stripe converts the subscription to active automatically.
Cancelling before the trial ends prevents any charge. Cancellation is handled through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from /billing.

NimbusOS covers everything most outbound teams need. Enterprise adds:

The Billing Model
Subscriptions are Stripe-backed. The local Subscription model tracks:
- Current tier (
nimbusosorenterprise) - Billing period (monthly or annual)
- Next renewal date
- Trial status and trial end date
Card data lives in Stripe; NimbusOS does not store it.
Annual vs monthly
Annual saves 20 percent and commits you for the year. Cancellation refunds only unused whole months on a prorated basis.
Monthly gives flexibility. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the current paid period.
Managing Your Subscription
All subscription changes happen through the Stripe Customer Portal. Open it from /billing by clicking "Manage subscription in Stripe". The portal supports:
- Updating the payment method
- Downloading invoices
- Switching between monthly and annual
- Cancelling
- Resuming a cancelled subscription before the period ends
- Updating the billing email and address
- Viewing tax documents
NimbusOS itself no longer renders an in-app upgrade or cancel flow. The Stripe Customer Portal is the canonical surface.
Cancellation
Open the Stripe Customer Portal from /billing and click Cancel. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing period.
During the remaining period, the workspace operates normally. At period end, the workspace moves to read-only mode for 30 days, then is archived.
Read-only mode. Dashboards and contact data remain accessible. Campaigns stop. Logins still work; users are shown a banner explaining the state.
Archive. After 30 read-only days, the workspace moves to cold storage. Data remains retrievable but not actively queryable. Restoring from archive requires re-activating billing.
Permanent deletion. 12 months after archive, the workspace is permanently deleted. Users are notified at months 10, 11, and 12.
Cancellation is reversible at any point before permanent deletion.
Payment Methods
Supported:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
- ACH (US only)
- Wire transfer (Enterprise tier, annual only)
Updating the payment method is done through the Stripe Customer Portal.
Invoices
Invoices are issued at each billing period:
- Monthly: on the renewal date
- Annual: on the anniversary
Past invoices are downloadable from the Stripe Customer Portal under Billing History.
Refund Policy
NimbusOS does not offer refunds for monthly billing. You cancel and operate through the end of the paid period.
For annual billing:
- Within 14 days of first purchase: full refund.
- After 14 days: prorated refund of unused months.
- After 6 months into an annual plan: no refund.
Tax
Tax is collected based on the billing address on file. US states with sales tax, EU countries with VAT, and several other jurisdictions are supported.
Tax exemption (non-profit, government, B2B) requires providing documentation to support.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pause a subscription?
No. Cancellation with optional re-subscription is the supported path.
How do I change from monthly to annual billing?
From the Stripe Customer Portal, switch the subscription's billing interval. The change takes effect immediately with a prorated charge for the annual term.
What happens at the end of the trial?
Stripe automatically converts the subscription from trialing to active at day 14 and charges the card on file at the rate captured during signup. If the rate is Founding Member, that rate remains locked at renewal as long as the subscription stays active.
Is there a free tier?
No. Trial-only access. Card capture is required to begin the trial.
Do you offer non-profit pricing?
Yes, 25 percent discount for verified non-profits. Contact sales.
Do you offer startup pricing?
